As part of the college’s commitment to enhancing its role in community service and bridging academic knowledge with practical application, the Department of Electrical Engineering organized a hands-on training course on the Arduino board on 14/12/2025, targeting 10 high school students. This course was designed in response to the rapid developments in technology and embedded systems, aiming to equip students with foundational knowledge and essential skills in electronics and programming, thereby preparing them both academically and practically for future engineering studies.

The course introduced students to the basic components of the Arduino board and its operational mechanisms, taught them principles of applied programming linked to electronic applications, and developed their practical skills through simple experiments and projects. In addition, it enhanced their logical thinking and problem-solving abilities while encouraging them to consider pursuing engineering and technical disciplines in the future.

This initiative is expected to raise high school students’ technical awareness, foster practical and innovative skills in electronics and smart systems, and provide an early opportunity to experience the nature of engineering studies, helping them make more informed academic decisions in the future.

The program reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to its social responsibility toward the surrounding community and its continuous efforts to contribute to local development and empower its members—particularly students—through applied education, dissemination of technical knowledge, and the promotion of a culture of innovation. This aligns with the college’s mission and objectives in serving the community and promoting sustainable development.
